What this covers
This policy applies to this website and to the information you send us about a court marriage matter โ by the enquiry form on this site, by phone, or over WhatsApp.
What we collect
- Your name, phone number and city, when you submit the enquiry form or contact us.
- The documents you send for the registration โ identity proof, age proof, address proof, photographs, and the corresponding details of your witnesses.
- The details of your matter needed to prepare affidavits and applications, such as dates, addresses and marital status.
We do not ask for payment card details on this website, and no page here collects them.
Why we collect it
- To advise you on your matter and answer your enquiry.
- To prepare the affidavits, applications and notices the registration requires.
- To file with, and appear before, the Marriage Registrar or the court dealing with your registration.
- To contact you about appointments, missing documents and the status of your matter.
Who sees it
Your information is seen by the advocate and the staff working on your matter, and is submitted to the Marriage Registrar, court or other authority to the extent the registration requires.
We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not use it for advertising. We disclose it outside your matter only where a law, court order or statutory authority requires us to.
Confidentiality
Communications with an advocate about your matter are treated as confidential and are protected under Section 132 of the Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023 (previously Section 126 of the Indian Evidence Act, 1872).
No notice is sent to your home address by us. Where a statutory notice is a requirement of the procedure you have chosen, we will tell you before that procedure begins.
Messages you send over WhatsApp or phone
Messages reach us through WhatsApp and your telecom provider, whose own terms and privacy policies govern that carriage. Once a message reaches us, this policy applies to it.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as your matter is active, and afterwards for as long as our professional record-keeping obligations require. Documents are held in access-controlled storage, not on shared or public drives.
Your choices
You may ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct anything inaccurate, or ask us to delete it where no legal or professional obligation requires us to retain it. Call or message the number on this site and we will act on your request.
This website
This site does not run advertising trackers or sell visitor data. The certificate check and the client portal are hosted separately, and information you enter there is covered by this same policy.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version is published on this page with a new date at the top.
